For the past month I've been swamped with work and have been a very bad blogger, but that has not stopped me from baking bread religiously. In fact while I was recently working in NYC, I brought my starter and baked a few loaves. Unfortunately, I didn't have my mixer which was a drag. I had to knead by hand and the results, well it tasted great, but wasn't the most visual.
There is something so gratifying about baking being a constant in my life, making something by hand that gets better and better.
More to come, including my first Walnut Sourdough with some first of season walnuts I picked up at the Farmers Market.

Hi, Lora. I'm wondering if you recommend creating one's own sourdough starter, or getting one from someone else. Can't wait to read about your walnut bread!
